Before carpet installation
Before your carpet installation day, there are a few steps you need to take to make sure your room is ready for our installation crew. Remove all furniture, décor, and empty closets in the room where your new flooring will be installed. Arrange for your old floor covering to be removed, making sure to leave the tack strips in place if you had carpet. Make sure your subfloor is ready for installation, including removing any debris or dirt from the surface.
During & after carpet installation
On installation day, prepare to be home and available to answer any questions. Make plans to keep pets and children away from the rooms where your carpet is being installed. Our crews will work efficiently to install your carpet.
Once your carpet installation is complete, there are a few things to remember. You may want to run a fan or open your windows to remove any smells associated with the installation. Prepare to stay off your new carpet for a period of time to let your flooring settle before bringing furniture and décor back into the room. After that period, you are ready to enjoy your new carpet floors!
